That is a lot to ask on trust. So rather than adding more adjectives to this page, we would rather you simply saw what a visit is actually like — the carer, the timekeeping, the manner, the notes afterwards. If we are as good as we say, one visit will tell you more than any amount of marketing.

Being precise about the £20
£20 is the price of a 30-minute care call. It is not a 20-minute visit, and we do not offer one. Our visit lengths are 30 minutes, 45 minutes and one hour.

Questions about the free care call
What is the free care call?
Your first 30-minute care call with Luxuricare is free. It is a real visit — a carer comes to the home and provides the support agreed in the care plan — rather than a sales appointment with a clipboard.
Is it really free, or is there a catch?
It is free. A 30-minute care call is normally £20, and we do not charge you for the first one. There is no setup fee either, and no requirement to book a minimum number of visits to qualify.
How is this different from the free assessment?
The assessment is a conversation about what would help — no care is delivered. The free care call is the real thing: an actual visit, doing the actual work. The assessment comes first, then the care plan, then your first visit is the free one.
What can we use the free care call for?
Whatever the care plan says the visit is for — help getting washed and dressed, a medication prompt, breakfast, or simply company. It is a normal visit, not a restricted trial version.
Can we meet the carer first?
Wherever the rota allows it, yes — and we would encourage it. A familiar face at the door on the first proper visit makes an enormous difference, particularly for someone who is uneasy about accepting help at all.
What if it does not go well?
Tell us, and tell us honestly. You are also inside the seven-day cooling-off period at that stage: you can cancel immediately and pay only for care already received. Nobody should feel locked in after one visit.
Do we have to commit to anything to get it?
You need a care plan in place, because a carer cannot arrive without knowing what the visit is for. But there is no minimum contract, no signing-up period and no penalty if you decide after the free visit that it is not for you.
