Not everything that makes staying at home possible is personal care. Quite often the thing that tips the balance is far more mundane: the shopping has become too heavy, cooking a proper meal feels like too much, or the washing has quietly got on top of everything.
This page brings together the practical, everyday support we provide. It works on its own, and it works well combined with personal care or companionship in the same visit.

To be clear about what this is and is not: this is light, everyday domestic support carried out as part of a care visit. It is not a deep-cleaning service, an end-of-tenancy clean, gardening, window cleaning, DIY or home maintenance.
Where getting out and about is involved, we will agree the practical arrangements — including transport and any costs such as fares or entrance fees — with you in advance. We do not operate a specialist transport service.

We deliver this service from our base at Bretby Business Park, which sits between Burton upon Trent and Swadlincote. In practice that means short journeys, a team that knows the local roads, and an office you could actually visit.
Coverage across the surrounding villages depends on where our team is working on a given day, so please ask us about your specific address rather than assuming either way.

Yes, that can be arranged as part of a visit, with the practical details — including how money is handled and receipts recorded — agreed in advance and written into the care plan.
No. We help with light domestic tasks as part of a care visit — washing up, laundry, bedding, tidying. For deep cleaning you would want a dedicated cleaning company.
Yes, and usually it should be. What fits into a visit depends on the visit length, so a 45-minute or one-hour call gives more room than a shorter one.
